It is difficult to determine if the goods security system is faulty without more information. Factors such as the frequency of false alarms, incidents of theft, and overall effectiveness of the system would need to be evaluated. Conducting a thorough assessment and possibly seeking input from security professionals would be necessary to determine if the system is faulty. **

While it is possible to throw stolen goods over an electronic goods security system, it is not a foolproof method of avoiding detection. Many security systems are equipped with sensors that can detect when an item is thrown over or passed through the system without being properly scanned. Additionally, security personnel may be monitoring the area and can respond to any suspicious activity. Thieves may also risk damaging the stolen goods by throwing them over the security system. Therefore, while it may be attempted, it is not a reliable method for avoiding detection. **

The exchange is excluded from goods that are perishable or have a limited shelf life, such as food items, fresh produce, and certain personal care products. Additionally, items that have been used or damaged by the customer are typically not eligible for exchange.
